Acoustical Fabrics
Here are some typical fabrics used to cover walls and/or ceilings for
acoustical applications:
The nice thing about covering walls and ceilings with acoustical
fabric is that all of the acoustical treatments can be hidden from view
behind the fabric. Stretching fabric on a wall, and especially on a
ceiling, is of course an art--and it takes real skill to make it come
out looking good!
There are of course many more patterns and colors available. Many
times people will choose white ceilings for a listening room. For a home
theater darker, neutral colors work best. The choice is of course up to
you!
